Awesome fluorite specimen from the Beihilfe Mine in Halsbruecke near Freiberg in Saxony; Germany. Yellow transparent and gemmy fluorite crystals up to 3.3 cm are covered with beige dolomite cystals and some quarz. The piece has a very interesting provenance and comes with some older labels. One label (Ex. Coll. Donath?) has a very exact description of the piece.

Quite large and nice fluorite crystal cluster floater with re-crystallized backside) in awesome turquoise-purple- zonal coloration especially when backlit. The crystals measure up to about 6.8 cm (!). Very interesting edge formations in stepped way. Also a few ingrowing pyrite crystals are to be seen. The piece comes from the La Viesca Mine, Asturias in Spain.
