Description:
Highly attractive greenish-blue and nicely geothermal etched aquamarine crystal with a length of 5.6 cm. This crystal has gem quality and shows awesome growth patterns on its crystal faces - similar to the patterns of the Volodarsk heliodor crystals. The crystal is a fine colored gemstone and shows a shape like the Jaqueto style. Only the bottom was the point of contact with the matrix. BUT here is the point: This is a new and probably onetime find from a small farm nearby Jacobina, Bahia, Brazil in 2019. Not much crystals were found in a small pegmatite autcrop.
This here is a very fine miniature with a total weight of 17.8 grams (= 89.0 carat). The piece comes from the collection of a German gemstone collector, which labels come with the piece.
