Awesome acanthite specimen with numerous metallic grey and lustrous "pseudo-cubic" acanthite crystals (acanthite pseudomorphic after argentite cubes) up to 0.6 cm in size. The acanthite is accompanied by beige siderite (German "Braunspat") which is a common paragenesis for this worldfamous and historic German locality: Himmelfürst Mine, Brand-Erbisdorf, Freiberg-District, Saxony, Germany. This fine collectors specimen has the following dimensions: 3.8 x 6.8 x 1.5 cm.
The piece comes from the Depot of Bergakademie Freiberg, Sektion Geowissenschaften with the corresponding older label. Silver minerals - especially such uncommon large and good-looking acanthite specimens with distinct pseudocubic, silvery crystals are highly sought after European classics and very hard to obtain. Mounted on an acrylic display - just if you want. Otherwise I can remove it.

Intense warm-yellow and gemmy fluorite cubes up to 0.6 cm in size - niceley scattered over a plate of rock matrix. This highly attractive fluorite specimen comes from a small, recent find (2019) in the Bergmännisch Glück Mine, Frohnau, Ore Mts., Saxony, Germany. The fluorite crystals are sharp-edged and transparent and have a really nice yellow color. It is a perfect piece from this quite new material. The total dimension of this cabinet sized specimen are 9.2 x 11.4 x 2.5 cm.
